| On the move: Castillon's plans move to midtown corridor Posted: 12 Dec 2010 05:55 AM PST > Castillon's Mexican Restaurant is leaving Link Lane in favor of a midtown Fort Collins location. The family-owned Mexican eatery has been serving burritos and tamales from its site at 320 S. Link Lane for more than 13 years. Owner John Castillon said this week his business will move into the former Le Peep, 4010 S. College Ave., at the corner of College and Boardwalk, on Jan. 3. Le Peep moved its restaurant to Front Range Village on Harmony Road. Prior to owning Castillon's, John Castillon worked for El Dorado, owned by Ben and Sally Chavez, operated at the same location on Link Lane. The Chavezes sold the restaurant in 1988, the same year Castillon graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with an accounting degree. He pursued an accounting career until 1997, when he opened Castillon's. "I still enjoy working in the restaurant as much as I did my first day and hope to run this new restaurant for at least 10 years or more," he said. The computer repair business that started in 2007 as Edge Laptop Repair and has slowly grown over the past three years, rebranded itself at the end of last year and moved into a new storefront in May at 1720 W. Mulberry St. in City Park Plaza. The company does standard computer repair, software repairs, major hardware failures with motherboards and other assemblies, data recovery from crashed hard drives, damaged flash drives, iPhone repair and custom soldering work. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
